BIOGRAPHY

Mihai Chiuaru is a contemporary artist, born in 1951 in Neamt, Romania. He studied fine arts and monumental painting at the National University of Arts in Bucharest. 

 

His works have been exhibited across Europe, United States, Japan and South Africa and reside in numerous museums and private collections. Mihai is a recognizable cultural figure in Romania for his artistic activity and monumental fresque, most notably Horaița Monastery in Neamt, Romania and Saint George Church in Cape Town, South Africa.
